Driving American Manufacturing into the Future
LIFT, operated by the American Lightweight Materials Manufacturing Innovation Institute (ALMMII), is a nonprofit 501(c)3 public-private partnership between the U.S. Department of Defense, industry and academia, part of the national network of manufacturing innovation institutes, driving the U.S. mobility sector toward the future manufacturing revolution to support our nation’s economy and enhance our national security.
"At LIFT we are committed to developing and deploying advanced manufacturing technologies and implementing talent development initiatives to better prepare the workforce today and in the future. Operation Next is central to this effort. Nothing could be more important or impactful than preparing separating military personnel with the skills and competencies most needed by manufacturers and most likely to set those who have served on a career path of advancement and growth."
