HCC’s accelerated welding program is offered in two six-week sessions and one three-week session to offer students more start date options and give them the flexibility to complete training on the welding processes that interest them the most. The program features a hybrid learning model with American Welding Society competencies taught online and reinforced with hands-on training in HCC’s newly-renovated welding lab.

Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. Students who successfully
complete accelerated welding sessions earn academic certificates and

Six-week sessions are $4,995 and three-week sessions are $2,995. Most soldiers use their VA benefits to pay for classes. Operation Next does provide funding which will cover the tuition for up to two students per session. These waivers are awarded based on need and order of acceptance into the program.
