The program features a hybrid learning model with American Welding Society competencies taught online and reinforced with hands-on training in HCC’s newly-renovated welding lab.

Hopkinsville Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. Students who successfully complete accelerated welding sessions earn academic certificates and American Welding Society certifications.

Six-week sessions are $4,995 and three-week sessions are $2,995. Most soldiers use their VA benefits to pay for classes. Operation Next does provide funding which will cover the tuition for up to two students per session. These waivers are awarded based on need and order of acceptance into the program.
